Not all yoga is hardcore. Gentle ‘Yin Yoga’ has Chinese origins and involves a lot of lying down and stretching on the floor. Postures are held for around five minutes and Yin instructors have been known to read gentle poetry whilst you stretch. If you like candles, blankets and lying down, Yin yoga might just be perfect for you.
