Interesting fact:

Did you know that most outdoor scenes that took place in the woods, were shot at a former military testing area near Berlin? Named ‘Fahrtechnikakademie Kallinchen’, the area once belonged to the German Democratic Republic. Much of the principle photography was also shot in and around Berlin.
