Interesting fact:

The Declaration of Independence was written by Thomas Jefferson on a writing desk that could fit on his lap, which was, at the time, referred to as a “laptop”. The original document that he wrote was not the one eventually signed. His original draft was lost and a copy then was made. A total of 200 copies were made at the time but only 27 of them are accounted for today.
