In the original Predator, the fictional jungle of Val Verde is actually a variety of locations in Puerto Vallarta and Palenque, Mexico. However, due to the fact that the jungles there are deciduous, fake leaves had to be brought into these areas to make the jungle seem even more dense and inescapable.
