Interesting fact:

Recall the enormous alien structure in the first Alien film? The space jockey? It was actually painted and designed by H. R. Giger himself, the man behind the design of the alien creature. It was an extremely impressive prop, but unfortunately, it was later burned down by a cigarette that was accidentally left on top of it.
