Ian Fleming wrote many of his James Bond books in a house he had purpose built on Jamaica. It’s name? Goldeneye of course, which was later used as the title of Pierce Brosnan’s first outing as Bond. The suave Fleming was said to have shared many things in common with Bond – he had been a spy, he smoked the same cigarettes and he was a passionate drinker.
