The cop who takes the guys for a ride-along is Phoebe’s boyfriend Gary. Gary makes a pretty swift departure from the show very soon after the two move in together. On their first morning, a bird wakes him up and Gary instantly shoots it. The animal-loving Phoebe is not prepared to put up with that kind of behavior!
