Did you know that Ian McKellen hates acting in front of green screen? At the end of a day of green screen acting whilst filming the Hobbit he threw a tantrum which was heard by the whole studio. He later explained that he had been acting for hours in front of sticks with photos of dwarves on them instead of real people. He said of the incident, ‘this is not why I became an actor’.
