The first Concorde ever built took its test flight in 1969. Only 20 were ever produced and of these 14 flew commercially from 1976 until 2003. Famously, the Concorde took only 2 hours and 56 minutes to fly from New York to London, and it takes at least 5 hours and 16 minutes to fly with the fastest of the other modern airliners.
