The Christmas tree was introduced to the Unites States back in the 1830s but it was not truly popularized until 1846. The incident to trigger this? Germany’s Prince Albert brought it to England when he married Queen Victoria. The couple was sketched before a Christmas tree and the tradition, powered by royal fever, “went viral… forever.”
